1.Who we are

Era Write is operated from the United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Era Write" mean that company, and "you" means the person or organisation using the service.

By creating an account, buying credits, or using Era Write in any way, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you are using Era Write on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that company.

2.What the service does

Era Write is a web application that generates long-form articles from keywords you supply. Depending on the campaign settings you choose, a run can include search research, citations, images, internal links, a quality scorecard, and publishing the finished article as a draft or post to a WordPress site you connect.

We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove something you rely on, we will try to give you reasonable notice, but the feature set is not frozen by these terms.

3.Account eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Era Write is not intended for children.
  • You must give accurate registration details — a real name, a working email address, and an accurate phone number if you choose to provide one — and keep them up to date.
  • One account per person or organisation, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Creating extra accounts to obtain repeated trials, promotional credits or discounts is not allowed.
  • You may not use Era Write if we have previously closed your account for breaking these terms.

4.Your account and security

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including any content generated and any credits spent. Keep your password private, and tell us at support@erawrite.com as soon as you suspect someone else has access to your account.

We record basic security information about sign-ups and logins — such as IP address, approximate location and browser — to spot fraud and duplicate accounts. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what is collected and why.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to use Era Write, or content produced with it, to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • produce or publish hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, or deliberately deceptive material;
  • create medical, legal or financial claims presented as professional advice without proper review;
  • build spam networks, private blog networks, doorway pages, or mass-produced sites whose main purpose is to manipulate search rankings;
  • impersonate a person, brand or organisation, or publish content under a byline that implies a real person wrote it when they did not;
  • resell, sublicense or white-label the Era Write service itself, or offer it as your own product, without a written agreement with us (selling articles you generate is fine — see section 6);
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the prompts, models, or internal logic behind the service;
  • scrape, crawl or automate the application outside of any API we officially provide, or bypass rate limits, queue positions or credit checks;
  • upload malware, probe our infrastructure for vulnerabilities without permission, or otherwise interfere with the service or other customers.

If you find a security issue, please report it to support@erawrite.com rather than exploiting it. We appreciate responsible disclosure.

6.Content ownership

You own the articles you generate. To the extent we hold any rights in the output of a generation run, we assign them to you. You can edit, publish, sell or license those articles however you like, including commercially, and you do not need to credit Era Write.

You keep ownership of everything you put into the service — your keywords, campaign briefs, brand information, existing site content and WordPress connections. You give us a limited licence to use that material only to run the service for you: generating, storing, and publishing your articles.

We own Era Write itself — the application, its interface, its pipelines and prompts, its documentation and its brand. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

Because generative systems produce similar text for similar prompts, we cannot promise that any article is unique in the world, and output is not guaranteed to be original or free of similarity to other content. You should check anything sensitive before publishing.

7.Generated output and SEO disclaimer

Era Write produces content automatically. That content may contain factual errors, outdated information, incorrect statistics, broken reasoning, or citations that do not support the claim they are attached to. Automatically fetched research and generated images can be wrong in the same ways.

You are responsible for reviewing and fact-checking every article before you publish it, and for making sure what you publish complies with the law and with the policies of the platforms you publish on — including Google Search's spam policies on scaled content abuse, and any disclosure rules that apply to automatically generated content in your industry or country.

We make no ranking guarantee. We do not promise any position in search results, any level of traffic, indexing, conversions or revenue. Search engines change their systems constantly and their decisions are entirely outside our control.

8.Credits and how they are charged

Era Write runs on credits. 1 credit = 1 word. You buy a pack of credits, and words are deducted from your balance as articles are produced.

When you are charged Credits are deducted only after an article has been generated and saved to your account. Nothing is reserved or held while a job is queued or running.
How much You are billed the lower of the article length you asked for and the number of words actually delivered, with a minimum of 100 credits per completed article. If a run overshoots your target length, the extra words are free.
Included at no extra credit cost Search research, verified citations, generated images, internal linking, the quality scorecard and WordPress publishing are included in the word price.
Failed runs Failed generations are not charged. If a run errors out, times out, or is stopped by a worker restart, the keyword is marked failed and no credits leave your balance. You can relaunch it.
Validity Purchased credits are valid for 30 days from the date they are added to your account, unless a different validity is shown on the pack at the time of purchase. Your billing page shows the expiry date of your current credits. When a batch expires, its remaining words are removed from your balance.
Order of use Credits are consumed soonest-to-expire first, so a paid batch is used up before it lapses.
Top-ups If you already hold a live paid plan you can top up at 1,000 credits per US$1, with a minimum top-up of US$5 and a maximum of US$1,000 per transaction. Top-up credits carry the same validity period as a pack.

Credits are a prepaid licence to use the service. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money except under our Refund Policy, and are non-transferable between accounts. Expired credits cannot be restored or refunded.

We may adjust the price of packs or the credit cost of features in future. Changes apply to purchases made after the change — credits you already hold keep the terms they were bought under.

9.Payment, currency and taxes

Credit packs are prepaid. You can pay by card or wallet through Stripe, by PayPal, through Lemon Squeezy, or by offline bank transfer where we offer it. Card details are handled entirely by those payment providers — we never see or store your full card number.

Where you choose offline bank transfer, an order is created immediately but your credits are only added after we have received and confirmed the payment. Please use the order reference shown in the app so we can match your transfer.

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Prices are exclusive of any sales tax, VAT, GST or similar tax unless the checkout page says otherwise; where a tax applies it is added at checkout or collected by the payment provider acting as merchant of record. You are responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion fees or withholding taxes on your side.

10.Refunds

Credits are digital goods delivered instantly, so refunds are limited. In short: unused credits can be refunded within 7 days of purchase; credits already spent on generated articles cannot. Our Refund Policy sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.

11.Third-party services and WordPress

Era Write depends on third parties — payment processors, generation infrastructure providers, hosting, and an IP-intelligence provider used for fraud checks. We choose them carefully, but we are not responsible for their outages, changes or decisions.

When you connect a WordPress site, you confirm you are allowed to publish to it and you authorise us to create posts, drafts and media there on your instruction. Your application password is stored encrypted and is used only for publishing. You can disconnect a site at any time, and you should revoke the application password in WordPress when you do. We are not responsible for anything that happens on your site after a post is published — including how it is indexed, edited or ranked.

12.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account, without a refund of spent credits, if:

  • you break section 5 (acceptable use) or section 3 (eligibility);
  • we reasonably suspect fraud, payment abuse, or the use of stolen payment details;
  • you file a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting support first — we may suspend the account while the dispute is open, and we may decline future business;
  • your use is damaging the service for other customers;
  • we are required to do so by law.

Where it is reasonable and safe to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. For a clear or repeated breach we may act immediately.

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@erawrite.com. Closing your account does not automatically refund unused credits — see the Refund Policy. Please export any articles you want to keep before you close it.

13.Availability and "as is"

Era Write is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it running, but on the current plans there is no uptime service-level agreement and no guaranteed generation time. Queue times vary with demand, and generation depends on providers outside our control.

We may take the service down for maintenance, updates or emergency fixes. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

14.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to Era Write is limited to the total amount you paid us in the three (3) months immediately before the event that gave rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and specifically not for lost profits, lost revenue, lost traffic, lost rankings, loss of goodwill, manual actions or penalties applied to your site, business interruption, or the cost of substitute services. We are not liable for loss of data where you had the ability to export or back it up yourself.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. Where that is the case, the limitations above apply to the maximum extent permitted, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

15.Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses, damages and legal costs if a third party brings a claim against us because of content you generated and published, material you supplied to the service, a site you connected, or your breach of these terms.

16.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law change. When we make a material change we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and give notice by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required immediately by law.

If you keep using Era Write after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and contact us about any unused credits.

17.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your own country.

Before starting formal proceedings, please email support@erawrite.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Most problems are solved that way.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us.
